• The successful enforcement of a lender's security interest over the adverse claims of warehouse keepers against the collateral, and the derailment of an attempted eviction of the debtor and its assets.
• The bankruptcy sales of substantially all of the assets of a Wisconsin-based manufacturer of specialty chemicals and its Massachusetts parent, and the management contested matters involving the debtor's secured creditor during the bankruptcy.
• The Chapter 11 reorganization of a retailer of decorations, party supplies and other paper products, resulting in the client's emergence from bankruptcy as a revitalized business.
• The direction of complex civil litigation on behalf of a state receivership estate involving an action for damages arising from the breach of the estate's leasehold interest.
• Advising financial institutions about the Truth in Lending Act (TILA), Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA), and Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA), and the Wisconsin Consumer Act (WCA), and the representation of lenders in high asset value individual bankruptcy cases.
