Dan McDermott focuses his practice on estate planning and business law.
Dan takes great pride in counseling his estate planning clients and understands the sensitivity and significance of planning for the people and property his clients value most.
As a former business owner, Dan also offers a unique and personal perspective in advising on the blend of business and individual planning necessary for business owners. Dan ran his own law firm with his partners for nine years after law school.
Being an effective and available estate planning resource for his clients and community is a priority for Dan, and he regularly presents estate planning educational programs. Dan also is a volunteer facilitator with the Shorewood Memory Café, which offers social engagement opportunities for those with memory issues and their care partners. Dan regularly volunteers with other local initiatives to help educate on, raise awareness about, and ultimately create more dementia-friendly communities.
He is a member of the State Bar of Wisconsin and the Milwaukee Bar Association.
