von Briesen Promotes Heiden, Hummel, Pinzl, Rolling and Waterstreet to Shareholders

von Briesen & Roper, s.c., today announced the following attorneys were promoted to Shareholders: Ryan P. Heiden, Trace P. Hummel, John P. Pinzl, Joseph J. Rolling and Derek J. Waterstreet.

Ryan P. Heiden is a member of the Government Law Group in the Milwaukee office. He focuses his practice on school law and public sector labor and employment including pupil issues, expulsions, Open Meetings and Public Records Laws. Heiden is a member of the Wisconsin School Attorneys Association (WSAA), State Bar of Wisconsin, Milwaukee Bar Association, Eastern District of Wisconsin Bar Association and American Bar Association. He received a J.D., magna cum laude, from Marquette University and a B.B.A., cum laude, from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater.

Trace P. Hummel is a member of the Litigation and Risk Management Practice Group and the Construction and Real Estate Sections. He practices in the firm's Milwaukee and Neenah offices where he focuses on commercial and contract litigation, including lease disputes, boundary disputes, water litigation, and construction defects. He also works with residential and commercial real estate owners on real estate projects. Hummel is a member of the Wisconsin Association of Home Inspectors, Wisconsin Society of Land Surveyors, Milwaukee Bar Association, State Bar of Wisconsin, Eastern District of Wisconsin Bar Association and American Bar Association. He received a J.D., cum laude, from Marquette University and a B.A., cum laude, from Illinois Wesleyan University.

John P. Pinzl is a member of the Litigation and Risk Management Practice Group in the Madison office. He focuses his practice on insurance coverage and litigation, third party recovery, medical malpractice and product liability. Pinzl is a member of the State Bar of Wisconsin and Wisconsin Defense Counsel. He received a J.D. and B.S. from the University of Wisconsin.

Joseph J. Rolling is a member of the Real Estate Section in the Madison office. He focuses his practice on real estate issues involving eminent domain, land use litigation and property tax assessments. Rolling serves as Chair of the Wisconsin Chapter's Legislation Committee for the International Right of Way Association and is a member of Wisconsin Society of Land Surveyors and an Affiliate of the Appraisal Institute. He is also a member of the American and Dane County Bar Associations. He received a J.D. from the University of Wisconsin and a B.S., with distinction, from the University of Wisconsin.

Derek J. Waterstreet is a member of the Litigation and Risk Management Practice Group in the Milwaukee office. He focuses his practice on commercial, real estate, and construction related litigation matters, including contract and general business/partnership disputes, landlord-tenant matters, residential and commercial construction, and environmental issues. He is a member of the State Bar of Wisconsin, Milwaukee Bar Association, Ozaukee Bar Association, and Eastern District of Wisconsin Bar Association. Waterstreet received a J.D., magna cum laude, from Marquette University and a B.A., summa cum laude, from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire.
