About Managed Care and Provider Contracting

Our managed care and provider contracting attorneys assist health care providers and managed care organizations with legal advice in the areas of managed care and insurance law. Our experience with the now more traditional managed care models (HMOs, PPOs, POS Plans, and others), allows us to structure effective provider arrangements in light of regulatory and administrative constraints and with a focus on maximizing the benefits available to payors and providers under the health reform initiatives. Our knowledge benefits our clients as we prepare and review managed care provider agreements from a practical and legal perspective. Our managed care attorneys also have experience in emerging areas of managing health care costs, such as employer/provider direct contracting and employer direct health care arrangements. Our managed care team also advises clients on issues relating to NCQA accreditation procedures and standards, drafting credentialing delegation agreements, as well as government payor programs, including the Medicare Part C and Part D programs.
