Lauren Triebenbach is a Shareholder and member of von Briesen’s Construction, Real Estate, and Banking sections. Lauren’s construction and real estate practice includes:

  • Construction litigation involving matters for contractors, design professionals, and owners, both residential and commercial, in court and arbitration proceedings.
  • Defending home inspectors against claims of property owners. 
  • Advising owners, contractors, home inspectors, and design professionals in risk avoidance procedures.
  • Assisting owners and condominium associations to remedy construction defect problems.
  • Drafting and revising agreements on behalf of property owners for procurement of new home construction and remodeling services.
  • Preparing construction contracts for general contractors, construction managers, architects, engineers, consultants, and other professionals.
  • Drafting and reviewing commercial leases for both small, local and large, national corporations.

Lauren also maintains a complimentary banking practice, which consists of assisting lenders in documenting new loans, amending existing loans, and restructuring troubled loans. Lauren has worked on numerous multi-million dollar loan transactions and high-level workouts for local and national banks.

Lauren provides counsel to both Milwaukee/NARI Home Improvement Council, Inc. and the Wisconsin Association of Home Inspectors. She is a frequent speaker at events for both organizations.

In 2015, Lauren was recognized as an “Up & Coming Lawyer” by the Wisconsin Law Journal. Since 2012, Lauren has been listed in Wisconsin Super Lawyers as a Rising StarSM in the area of Construction Litigation.

Lauren volunteers her time as a member of the Board of Directors for the Arts @ Large Community Center and as the Chair of the Architectural Review Commission for the Village of Whitefish Bay. She is also a member of the Executive Leadership Team for the March of Dimes’ annual March for Babies and is the festival office coordinator for Polish Fest.

Lauren is an active member of the American Bar Association’s Forum on Construction Law, the State Bar of Wisconsin (Advisor and Member, Construction and Public Law Section; Member, Bankruptcy, Insolvency, and Creditor’s Rights Section), and Milwaukee Bar Association (MBA). She also regularly participates in events for the Women in Commercial Real Estate Wisconsin (WCREW), the National Association of Women in Construction (NAWIC), the Commercial Association of Realtors Wisconsin (CARW), the Association for Women Lawyers (AWL), and the Wisconsin Underground Contractors Association (WUCA).

A transplant from the great state of Texas, Lauren now resides in Whitefish Bay with her husband, Jeremy, and two sons.
