Jessica Lothman is a member of the Real Estate and Labor and Employment Sections working on both transactional and litigation matters. Her real estate practice, on behalf of commercial clients and municipalities, focuses on tax assessment and “dark store” litigation, tax incremental financing (“TIF”), drafting and negotiating lease agreements, and drafting and negotiating construction contracts on behalf of commercial and governmental clients.
Her labor and employment experience includes assisting employers in developing handbooks and presenting on the Family and Medical Leave Act, Americans with Disabilities Act, and performance reviews, among other topics.
She is an active member of the State Bar of Wisconsin, the Milwaukee Bar Association, and the American Bar Association, specifically the Dispute Resolution Section. Additionally, she is a member of Wisconsin Commercial Real Estate Women.
While at Marquette University Law School, she was a member of the Social Welfare and Benefits Law Review, Pro Bono Honor Society, and earned a certificate in Alternative Dispute Resolution. She also holds a Master’s in Education.
