Every Police Chief and Fire Chief desires to maintain the highest quality protective service force committed to providing excellent public service. With recent changes in legislation permitting arbitral involvement in police and fire department employee disciplinary matters, management must respond and be able to engage in collective bargaining in a manner designed to preserve, promote, and further the interests of management.

This advanced course is designed to assist anyone that needs to manage internal investigations within their police agency. In order for any internal investigation to be successful, the investigation must be organized and presented as a successful solution. Internal Investigation supervisors often have myriad of cases to review, categorize and complete per their department policy as well as criminal law protocols. This training will give police agencies the tools and concepts to handle these sensitive investigations.
