Janet Starck is the Public Sector Labor Relations Coordinator for all the attorneys in the Government Law Group. With over thirty years of experience focusing on labor and employment issues, Janet coordinates, analyzes, and summarizes collective bargaining data, researches case law, conducts costing analysis and external comparability wage and benefit comparative analysis, reviews employee handbooks and collective bargaining agreements, drafts bargaining proposals, calculates total compensation costs, develops exhibits and witness questions for interest arbitrations and grievance arbitrations, and assists with preparing pre- and post-hearing briefs. Janet’s extensive labor relations experience is demonstrated by her direct involvement in preparing and assisting clients with over 80 public sector interest arbitration cases.

Janet is not only dedicated to her career, she is also passionate about organ donation. In 2023, Janet donated one of her kidneys to a friend. This experience was life-changing, and inspired Janet to work on raising awareness about the great need for organ donors.
