Based in the Fox Valley, Bill is a seasoned litigator and advisor with a diverse practice in both the public and private sectors. Bill advises school districts and other public sector clients on a wide range of matters, including employment law, construction contracts, vendor agreements, and open records and public meeting issues. Bill’s public sector employment law practice includes representation before various administrative tribunals, such as the Wisconsin Department of Workforce Development and the federal Equal Employment Opportunities Commission. As a long-time litigator, Bill also handles matters for the public sector in both state and federal trial and appellate courts. Bill’s school law practice touches on a wide range of school-specific matters, including student discipline and expulsions, pupil records, school board policies, Constitutional law, and special education.
Bill also advises all manner of private businesses and individuals, including manufacturers, banks, and professionals, both within the Fox Valley and beyond, with a focus on risk management, business litigation, employment matters, creditor’s rights, and contract drafting and review. As a long-time commercial litigator, Bill guides clients through the legal process when a dispute arises, working closely with clients to define their goals upfront and then devises a custom litigation strategy incorporating those needs.
