von Briesen Welcomes Four Attorneys
von Briesen & Roper, s.c., announced today that attorneys Logan M. Glasenapp, Ericka C. Hammett and Sarah R. Lundgren have joined the firm's Milwaukee office and Ryan R. Simatic has joined the firm's Eau Claire office.
Logan M. Glasenapp is an Associate in the Environmental Section. Glasenapp focuses his environmental practice on real estate and business transactions, environmental permitting, compliance counseling and enforcement defense. Prior to joining von Briesen, Glasenapp served as Associate Regional Counsel for Region 5 of the Environmental Protection Agency and as a Staff Attorney for the New Mexico Wilderness Alliance. He is a member of the State Bar of Wisconsin, State Bar of New Mexico and the Milwaukee Bar Association. He received a J.D., cum laude, and a certificate in Natural Resources and Environmental Law, from the University of New Mexico School of Law and a B.A. from the University of Wisconsin.
Ericka C. Hammett is a Shareholder in the Insurance Coverage and Risk Management Section. She focuses her practice on insurance coverage matters, including advising insurers on first-party property, third-party commercial general liability (CGL), professional liability and bad faith claims. She is recognized by The Best Lawyers in America® in Insurance Law, Litigation - Insurance, Professional Malpractice Law - Defendants (2024-2025) and in Commercial Litigation (2025). Hammett is a member of the Wisconsin Defense Counsel (Insurance Law Committee), State Bar of Wisconsin, Milwaukee Bar Association and the Association for Women Lawyers (AWL). She received a J.D., cum laude, from the University of Wisconsin and a B.B.A., with distinction, from the University of Wisconsin.
Sarah R. Lundgren is an Associate in the Litigation & Risk Management Section. She focuses her practice on mass tort/toxic tort matters. Lundgren is a member of the State Bar of Wisconsin and the Milwaukee Bar Association. She received a J.D. and a certificate in Litigation Practice, from Marquette University Law School and a B.A. from the University of Wisconsin.
Ryan R. Simatic is a Shareholder in the Real Estate Section where he focuses his practice on eminent domain. He has handled jury trials and evidentiary hearings with property damages ranging from $50,000 to $50 million. He also has significant experience with a wide range of real estate disputes involving easements, boundaries, adverse possession, land use and zoning, property tax valuation and property tax exemptions. Simatic is a member of the State Bars of Wisconsin, Minnesota, North Dakota, Arizona, Idaho and New York. He received his J.D., magna cum laude, from William Mitchell College of Law and a B.A. from the University of Minnesota.
