She works closely with business owners, entrepreneurs, nonprofit organizations and individuals on a wide range of business, transactional, tax-exempt, and individual planning matters.
Anne’s business and corporate practice includes entity formation and governance, mergers and acquisitions, business sales and purchases, succession planning, contract drafting and negotiation, as well as general corporate and contractual matters. She enjoys helping closely-held businesses navigate each phase of their lifecycle, from formation and growth to ownership transitions and strategic transactions.
In her nonprofit and tax-exempt practice, Anne advises charitable and mission-driven organizations on formation, governance, obtaining and maintaining federal tax-exempt status, charitable compliance, group exemptions, and Benefit Corporations with significant experience in starting new charitable organizations and obtaining 501(c)(3) tax-exempt status.
Anne also advises clients on trust and estate planning and estate administration, often working at the intersection of business ownership, family wealth, charitable objectives, and succession planning. She takes a practical and relationship-focused approach to counseling clients, seeking to understand not only their legal needs but also their personal, family, and long-term objectives. Anne particularly enjoys collaborating with clients and their trusted advisors, including accountants, financial advisors, bankers, and other professionals, to develop thoughtful strategies that address immediate needs while positioning businesses, assets, and charitable endeavors for long-term success across generations.
