James Anderson focuses his practice on creditors rights, collections and civil litigation, including probate and inheritance litigation. He also has significant experience in corporate issues, real estate transactions and estate planning and probate administration.
Prior to private practice, James served as the state representative for the 47th Assembly District where he focused on laws and regulations covering healthcare, environmental, legal affairs, financial institutions and technology.
James is a member of the Advisory Board for New Leaders Council, where he provides mentorship to public, private and nonprofits leaders. He also volunteers his time by serving on the Victim Impact Panel for the Dane County District Attorney’s Office.
In his spare time, James enjoys reading contemporary literature, trying new restaurants and writing screenplays.
