Brian is a member of the Government Law Group, the Labor and Employment Section and the Community Association Law Section. His work in the Community Association area includes governance, disputes and collections. He is a contributing author to Community Leader, the Community Associations Institute Wisconsin Chapter newsletter. Brian also assists local municipal and county governments in CHIPs, guardianships, and other protective services cases.

Before joining von Briesen, Brian served as an intern for Justice Brian Hagedorn of the Wisconsin Supreme Court, and as a Clinical Law Student with the Neighborhood Law Clinic at the University of Wisconsin.

Prior to entering the legal community, Brian served as an infantry officer in the United States Marine Corps for nearly 11 years. He continues to serve the community through volunteering with Scouts BSA and Save-A-Warrior, a mentorship and wellness program for returning veterans, first responders, law enforcement officers, and firefighters dealing with PTSD.
