Trace Hummel is a member of the Litigation and Risk Management Practice Group. He helps clients resolve commercial and contract disputes, construction defects, and litigation matters involving contractors, owners, home inspectors, and other professionals. He focuses his practice in the areas of litigation, construction, public and commercial finance and toxic tort.
During law school, Trace was the Senior Articles Editor for The Marquette Law Review and worked for two years as Dean Joseph D. Kearney’s Research Assistant. Trace served as a member of the Sports Law Review, was the Head Chair of the 2016 Intramural Sports Negotiation Competition and participated in the National Sports Law Negotiation Competition held annually in San Diego. Trace also volunteered at the Marquette Volunteer Legal Clinic and Bankruptcy Help Desk.
Trace is a member of the Milwaukee Bar Association, the State Bar of Wisconsin, the Eastern District of Wisconsin Bar Association and the American Bar Association.
