von Briesen Welcomes Seven Attorneys in Four Offices
von Briesen & Roper, s.c., announced today the addition of seven attorneys in four offices: Claire A. McDonough and Christian T. Oehrlein joined the Milwaukee office, James P. Anderson and T. Alexander Dee joined the Madison office, Anne E. Flinchum and Ann L. Patteson joined the Firm’s Green Bay office and Anthony S. Wachewicz III joined the Eau Claire office.
Claire A. McDonough is an Associate in the Trusts and Estates Section. She focuses her practice on helping individuals, families and business owners plan for their future through estate planning and succession planning. McDonough is recognized as a Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch® in Trusts and Estates (2024-2026).
McDonough is a member of the State Bar of Wisconsin, Milwaukee Bar Association, Association for Women Lawyers (AWL), Milwaukee Estate Planning Forum and the Waukesha County Estate Planning Council. McDonough received a J.D. from Marquette University and a B.A. from the University of Wisconsin.
Christian T. Oehrlein is an Associate in the Insurance and Risk Management Section. He focuses his practice on insurance coverage and defense, employment discrimination, breach of contract, real estate disputes and adverse possession. He is a member of the State Bar of Wisconsin, Milwaukee Bar Association, Milwaukee Young Lawyers Association (MYLA) and Wisconsin Defense Counsel. Oehrlein received a J.D., cum laude, from the University of Wisconsin and a B.A. from the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities.
James P. Anderson is an Associate in the Business Practice Group. He focuses his practice on creditors rights, collections, civil litigation, corporate issues, real estate transactions and probate administration. He is a member of the State Bar of Wisconsin. He received a J.D. from the University of Wisconsin and a B.A. from the California State University at Monterey Bay.
T. Alexander (“Alek”) Dee is an Associate in the Business Practice Group. He focuses his practice on corporate, estate planning, succession planning, transactions and real estate. He is a member of the State Bar of Wisconsin, Dane County Bar Association, and the Madison Estate Council. Dee received a J.D. and a B.S. from the University of Wisconsin.
Anne E. Flinchum is an Associate in the Business Practice Group. She focuses her practice on helping businesses and nonprofits across a range of industries with corporate matters, commercial finance and leases. Flinchum is a member of the State Bar of Wisconsin and is President-Elect of the Board of Directors for Breakthrough T1D Northeastern Wisconsin Chapter. Flinchum received a J.D. from Marquette University and a B.A. from the University of Wisconsin.
Ann L. Patteson is Counsel in Business Practice Group. She represents individuals, businesses and school districts with a wide range of real estate, corporate, contractual, general litigation, creditors’ rights and collection issues. She is recognized by Wisconsin Super Lawyers® (2026).
Patteson is a member of the State Bar of Wisconsin (Bankruptcy, Insolvency and Creditors’ Rights Section), the Green Bay Kiwanis Club and a Board Member for the nonprofit, The Production Farm. Patteson received a J.D. from the University of California at Davis and a B.A. with Honors, from the University of California at Riverside.
Anthony S.Wachewicz III is a Shareholder in the Government Law Group. He serves local government and school districts with labor and employment, real estate, public record and open meeting issues, intergovernmental matters and special education related issues. He also advises private sector employers in employment and labor matters including employee leave and wage and hour issues. He is a member of the State Bar of Wisconsin. Wachewicz received a J.D. from the William Mitchell College of Law and a B.S., cum laude, from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire.
