Chris Jenny is a Shareholder and Chairs the Firm’s Business Practice Group. He is a business lawyer with more than 25 years of experience helping owners of companies grow more profitably while reducing their risk and cost. Clients rely on Chris as a practical, plain-spoken advisor with a straightforward approach to achieving their goals.

Chris concentrates his practice in the real estate and construction industries, representing contractors, suppliers, developers, landlords, tenants, and buyers and sellers across a full range of transactional work including contract drafting and negotiation, acquisition and development, leasing, financing, construction disputes, collections, and business succession. Because he handles both the transaction and the dispute that occasionally follows it, Chris drafts with an eye toward what actually holds up when a project goes sideways. He Chairs the Firm’s Real Estate Acquisition and Sale Section and co-Chairs the Retail Real Estate Section.

Chris is a frequent speaker and author for industry and continuing education audiences, particularly in the remodeling and construction trades, and is a former President and member of the Board of Directors of NARI of Madison. In his free time, he golfs, enjoys completing home improvement projects, and travels with his family. Chris is also a high school varsity basketball coach and a WIAA licensed basketball official.
